Our Thanksgiving Mission
“This is a time of the year where families really need help. We want to put into practice the universally known truth that “it is more blessed to give than to receive”. Please join us this holiday season and bring joy to families that deserve but are not able to afford a true Thanksgiving meal. “Help make this a Thanksgiving these families will never forget.” Proverbs 11:25 says “…he who refreshes others will himself be refreshed.” Think about whom you can bless this year. Let us bless you as we give thanks for all we have. Believing it is better to give than to receive, Midwest Sports Academy will be donating Thanksgiving baskets to families in need on November 22, 2019. Midwest Sports Academy is accepting donations that will provide hearty meals for 500 families in the area district u-46, district 300 and Teen Nite,Inc. Last year Midwest Sports Academy reached its goal feeding 300 families. Midwest Sports Academy receive great support Meijer’s store and Trader Joes Food both located in Algonquin, IL CJ Drilling Co., AG Edwards, Baird’s Financial Advisors Group Robert Schrieber and Ultimate Investigation and outside donations. Midwest Sports Academy is praying for another successful drive. All proceeds go towards the Thanksgiving Baskets Please help Midwest Sports Academy assist those that are in need. List of items: 500 instant mash potatoes, 1000 cans corn, 1000 can green beans, 500 boxes of stuffing mix, (dessert mix 500) brownies, cookies, cake mix and 1000 cornbread mix, 500 $15,00 or $20.00 gift cards to purchase turkeys.
